(Future)

Not a tense, but one of several ways to show future actions

Two ways to show future actions:

pensar + infinitive: to plan to do something (not definite)

ir + a + infinitive: to be going to do something (more

definite)

Don't conjugate second verb in phrase because pensar or ir are already conjugated.

NOTICE that they mean different things!

Examples:

Pienso estudiar. I plan to study. (may not happen)

Voy a estudiar. I am going to study. (probably will happen)
