¥ negative words 'sandwich' conjugated verb

Je ne parle pas. = I don't speak.

¥ ne becomes n' before a verb beginning with a vowel

Je n'aime pas les escargots. = I don't like snails.

personne and rien can be the subject of a sentence, can go in front of ne + verb.
