Principal - Betty Roberts

Mrs. Roberts graduated from Appalachian State University with BSB degree in Education, and a minor in Social Studies. She later continued her education by earning a Master's in Curriculum and Administration from City University. Her teaching experience includes two years of Elementary Education in Florida, 14 years in North Carolina at both elementary and middle school levels, and four years in the Vancouver School District. In 1998, after teaching 6th grade at Gaiser Middle School, Mrs. Roberts moved up to Associate Principal where she served in this position for three years before taking over as Principal beginning with the 2001-02 school year. Mrs. Roberts is married to Jerry Roberts, also a Vancouver School District administrator, and the mother of two children, Darius and Jeremy.
