Mountain House

Teachers of the Mountain House meet weekly to plan curriculum, discuss student concerns, and plan activities for students in the house. In addition to 6th grade level courses, we offer math and literature courses for students who have not reached Benchmark.
In Science, all 6th graders will participate in a half day Outdoor School training, led by the Wolftree Organization, here at Gaiser.
The students will use the skills they have learned and apply them in the wilderness around Battle Ground Lake later in the Spring.

REQUIRED LIST OF SUPPLIES FOR SIXTH GRADERS

- 3 ring binder with 8 subject dividers or an accordian style folder (your son or daughter's teacher will determine which style to purchase after school starts.)

- Pens (2 blue, black, red ink, NO GEL PENS!)
- Colored Pencils
- Highlighters (one of each - Yellow, Pink, Blue, Green)
- Glue, scissors, ruler
- Post It Notes (3"x3")
- 2 Boxes Of Kleenex.
- College Ruled Paper
- Pencils, Manual Pencil, Pencil Sharpener, Eraser, Pencil Pouch
- PE SUPPLIES:
        *Solid Shirt, prefably white
        (Not red or black, no logos or writing)
        *Solid Shorts (No red, no logos)
        *Gym Shoes, preferably white, with rubber sole
- Fees:
        *Gaiser Assignment Notebook (Required)
        * ASB Card $5 (required for athletes, and band/choir participants.
        *PE Uniform $15 (Optional)

*AN ADDITIONAL, MORE SPECIFIC SUPPLY LIST WILL BE GIVEN IN THE FALL.
