On-line Lesson Plans

The table below lists each of the PC-Draft lessons you will be completing each day. You can access those lessons by clicking the links below. Once you are into the lessons, you can click the red arrows at the beginning or end of each lesson to go on to additional lessons. The table below shows how much you should complete each day. The red arrows will not let you know when each day's set of lessons has been completed; they simply flow from lesson to lesson. Choose the way you like best.

Tomorrow you will be taking the post-test along with the rest of the class. The testing site where the post-tests are taken will not be linked till tomorrow so you will not be able to see what the post-test is like till class time tomorrow. However, the post-test is quite similar to the pre-test. The best way for you to prepare for the post-test is to take the pre-test several times before tomorrow.
Today is the day we take the post test. Remember that this is a test and that you should not be talking with or sharing answers with your classmates. Click on the link below to take the post test.
For extra credit, you can add additional stories to your one story house plan. You will receive 25 points of extra credit per story that you add - limit 2 extra stories. Just do the following steps for each story:
A. Open the one story house plan that you just finished. You will have to add a staircase to your one story house plan. Open the symbol library entitled stairs.dsy and select one of the types of stairs in the list. You can discuss which type of stairs to use with your teacher. When you have added your staircase, click the FILE menu and select SAVE.
B. To begin designing your second story, click the FILE menu and select SAVE-AS. Add "2nd story" to the file name and save into your MY Documents folder.
C. When you draw your additional story, you will be changing the size, number, and shape of your rooms, but the outline of the house should remain basically the same as your first story. Also, your staircase must remain in the same location for all floors.
D. To begin designing your third story, click the FILE menu and select SAVE-AS. Add "3rd story" to the file name and save into your MY Documents folder.
E. Design your third story in a similar way to the way you designed your second story.
F. When you have finished any additional stories for your one story house plan, print them out and show them to your teacher for extra credit points.
G. When your teacher announces clean up time, clean up your module area and make sure that everything is put away.
