Guidelines for Student Web Pages

The student's who have posted their web page projects at this location are students in the Gaiser year long Tech. Ed. classes.

As a safety precaution, the following guidelines must be strictly adhered to by all students designing web pages:

1. Only students having written parental permission may display their last names, personal photographs, e-mail addresses, or pictures of other family members on their web pages.

2. No student /family street addresses may appear in the web pages.

3. No student/family phone numbers may appear in the web pages.

4. All student pages must contain approved URL links to the Vancouver School District #37 page, the Gaiser Middle School page, and the Tech. Ed. page.

5. Parents are expected to log onto the student web pages and inspect them to see if they meet the above criteria. Links will be broken to web pages that are in violation as soon as possible after parents have notified the teacher.

6. All students who post work on the Gaiser web server, will be required to sign a copyright release form with their parents.

7. All student work is checked to see it meets 6 trait writing standards.

8. Any objectionable material such as drugs, alcohol, tobacco, gangs, sex, and zero tolerance has been removed by the students before pages are linked.
