Welcome to Gaiser Middle School, Home of the Grizzlies!
Our mission at Gaiser is to work collaboratively as a school community to leave a lasting legacy and positive impact for future generations. The Gaiser Givens guide our daily interaction with one another around our four core values of being respectful, responsible, safe and having a positive attitude. Our staff makes a commitment on a daily basis to be fearless, steadfast and relentless. This commitment ensures that rigorous and relevant learning is happening in the classroom as well as instilling strong character and building positive relationships with students.
Gaiser’s Dual Language program is an opportunity for students to receive their language arts and social studies instruction in both Spanish and English. Being a part of this program is not only an opportunity for students to learn Spanish language, literature and culture, but also a chance to earn valuable high school credit through the Avant STAMP test at the conclusion of the program.
Gaiser offers AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) elective classes, and teachers throughout the building use specific AVID strategies to support a post-secondary mindset and preparedness for our students.
Gaiser is a place for all. We offer classes to meet the academic needs of all students, and we work diligently within our tiered intervention program to address the academic, behavioral and social needs of our students. Additionally, there are a variety of activities for students to be involved in: leadership, AVID, performing arts and athletics are just a few.
As your principal, my door is open to questions or concerns you have about our school community. My mission is to work collaboratively with you to ensure a better experience for all who walk through our doors.
Welcome to Grizzly Nation! I am proud to serve our students, staff and families.
